Do you want to make an impact on your community? Want to help teens and other young people learn about healthy relationships? Are you a teen or young adult between the ages of 13 and 22 who wants to make a difference?
Our National Youth Advisory Board (NYAB) is recruiting new members!
Thanks to mark., a division of Avon, the NYAB is comprised of 25 hardworking and committed individuals in middle school, high school and college, plus young people who aren’t in school representing young people of all backgrounds and communities.
All throughout the year, the NYAB works to raise awareness of dating violence and how teens and young adults can build their lives free of abuse. We’re looking for energetic, passionate and respectful members who are dedicated to the issue of dating abuse on a personal or social level. We’re also looking for people who are involved in their community, social media savvy, able to finish tasks and meet deadlines, and are comfortable with public speaking.
You’ll be making decisions and planning content for loveisrespect, as well as developing partnerships and engaging others to start talking about healthy relationships. For example, you’ll write blogs, host events across the country and take steps towards empowering youth. You’ll also be a part of Respect Week during teenDVmonth.
Like the NYAB but can’t join yourself? Share this with family and friends that meet the requirements!
Applications are due by February 28 — don’t wait until it’s too late! Apply to be the newest member of the NYAB now!
