Be Part of loveisrespect’s National Youth Council!

Do you want to make an impact on your community? Want to help teens and other young people learn about healthy relationships? Are you a teen or young adult between the ages of 15 and 24 who wants to be part of the mission to end dating abuse?

If you answered yes to these questions, you could be a member of the loveisrespect National Youth Council!

Who is the National Youth Council?

The National Youth Council (NYC) will be comprised of 10 to 15 hardworking and committed young people of all backgrounds and communities.

What Does the NYC Do?

Throughout the year, the NYC will work to raise awareness about dating violence and help teens and young adults build lives free of abuse. We’re looking for energetic, passionate and respectful members who are dedicated to the issue of dating abuse on a personal or social level. We’re also looking for people who are involved in their community, social media savvy, able to finish tasks and meet deadlines and are comfortable with public speaking.

As a member of the NYC, you’ll be providing feedback and contributing content for loveisrespect, as well as developing partnerships and engaging others to start talking about healthy relationships. You’ll also be a part of Respect Week during #teenDVmonth and many other loveisrespect campaigns!
