Boston teens have a message to send to Chris Brown in response to the recent apology video he released: your apology is not enough. Teen peer leaders in the Start Strong program decided to speak out as both fans of Chris Brown and young people concerned about the issue of teen dating violence. Check out the response video below, or click here to view the full story. These teens have also created an online petition via Facebook, titled: “A Message to Chris Brown.”

Thanks for highlighting the work of our Start Strong teens. They are an amazing group of young people who are committed to the cause of preventing teen dating violence. Let’s hope that Chris Brown hears their call and becomes part of the solution.

Chris Brown says that Rhianna hit him first: http://www.monstersandcritics.com/people/news/article_1461646.php/Chris_...

Brown’s assertion should be taken seriously. The stereotype of physical abuse is a man battering a women. Yet hundreds of scientific studies show a common pattern of dating/domestic violence is reciprocal, bi-directional aggression — both partners abusing each other in roughly equal rates.

I’m an outsider looking in; I wasn’t there and don’t know exactly what happened between Rhianna and Brown. Abuse of any kind is horrible, and we all have a right to defend ourselves from assault. Including Chris Brown.

i think that chris brown is really sorry for what he did to rihanna. i think that the past is the past and that everybody needs to leave him alone about his. he agoloized, what else do you guys want from him. i do think it was wrong what he did to rihanna but everybody makes mistakes and i bet if it was somebody else ,you guys wouldn’t be talking about it.but when it is chris brown, you guys want to talk crap about him. ihave always been a big fan of chris brown and that will never change.just remember that everybody makes mistakes and we are all humans. think about if you were in his shoes and how you would feel about it. i think that rhinana has something to do with it ,too but won’t say anything.

I THINK THAT CHRIS BROWN IS REALLY SORRY AND I THINK THAT EVERYBODY NEEDS TO GET OFF HIS CASE AND LET HIM BE. HE IS A HUMAN BEING AND EVERYBODY MAKE FREAK’N MISTAKE.I BET IF IT WAS JAY-Z OR KANYE WEST OR SOMEBODY ELSE . YOU GUYS WOULDN’T BE SAY’N ANYTHING BUT WHEN IT IS CHRIS BROWN. IT IS A DIFFERENT STORY, RIGHT.EVERYBODY NEEDS TO LEAVE HIM ALONE AND DROP EVERYTHING AND JUST CAUSE HE DID IT ONCE ,DON’T MEAN HE IS GOING TO DO IT AGAIN.
