loveisrespect is proud to unveil the interactive Teen Power and Control Wheel! It is adapted from the Domestic Violence Power and Control Wheel and is customized to address dating violence issues experienced by teens. Each spoke of the wheel addresses a different tactic abusers employ in order to control their partner. By clicking on each spoke of the wheel you can view the video diary of a scenario that corresponds with that description. This wheel is a great tool for conducting your own discussions about teen dating abuse and brainstorming possible resolutions. Click here to check it out!

MTV’s A Thin Line campaign has some exciting new stuff going on! They have launched an awesome new Facebook application called “Over the Line?” where you can share stories of possible digital abuse and rate others’ stories to help define the line between innocent and inappropriate. This is a great way to share thoughts on the grey areas that often exist when talking about digital abuse. Be sure to check it out and share your own stories!
In other exciting A Thin Line news, the winners of their Redraw the Line challenge will be announced really soon. Audience voting is open until March 28th so be sure to vote! Embeddable banners for both the Challenge and the Over the Line App can be found here.

Since her return from the Peer Ambassador retreat in Dallas, Daegan has become very active in her community to raise awareness about teen dating abuse. She is in the process of starting an organization to promote the ideas of loveisrespect called Badgers Against Dating Abuse, or B.A.D.A. This is a great idea because her school has not had a club similar to this one. She would like to begin promoting healthy relationships at her school and has decided to put loveisrespect posters around her school to advertise both the club and the website.
