Help Break The Cycle Win The Pepsi Refresh Challenge

logoBreak the Cycle is in the running for a chance to win $250,000 in the Pepsi Refresh Challenge. They have submitted a campaign that seeks to empower young women to end dating violence across the United States.  If they win, they will use the money to reach out to selected Girl Scouts Councils and not only educate the participants to avoid abuse and create healthy realtionships, but train them to become peer leaders and spread the knowledge. HEART Someone

e-card-i-heart-youHave you had a chance to check out Break the Cycle’s Have a Heart Campaign yet? They have a lot of really good resources and ideas for spreading awareness. One thing we really like is their HEART Someone initiative. They made these really cool health-e relationship cards that you can send out to your boyfriend, girlfriend or whoever else you want! The e-cards are free to send out and are a great way of thanking the special people in your life for being a healthy part of your life. Click here to send out your cards.

Break the Cycle’s Have a Heart Campaign

We are proud to be featured as a partner for Break the Cycle’s Have a Heart Campaign! The campaign urges everyone to “have a heart” and speak out against teen dating violence in order to make a difference during Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month. They are urging everyone to take part from teens to teachers to elected officials. Their website has a lot of great resources and information so be sure to check it out. They also have really cool heart images you can print out and wear on your sleeve to support the cause.
