As some of you may know, we were featured on 106 & Park on Black Entertainment Television (BET). There are some great clips from the show that we wanted to share with those of you who may have missed it. Check them out:
Chris Brown and Rihanna: We are sure everyone has heard the reports about what “allegedly” happened. Reports on it have been circulating all over the place. Everyone from Oprah, to Tyra Banks to MTV has been sounding off on it. The Helpline has been all over the place trying to talk about teen dating abuse and healthy relationships. We are even going to be featured on 106 & Park this Thursday, March 12, 6-8 p.m. EST on Black Entertainment Television (BET).
In light of this recent event, we want to invite you to discuss dating abuse in your lives.
How would you feel if it was someone you care about being abused? What advice would you give to a friend experiencing abuse? Your feedback is really important to us and can help us consider different perspectives when helping teens in need.
Here are a few links to some recent stories Helpline staff have been interviewed for.
